About Kim

Kim Levin is a photographer who specializes in pet portraiture. Her company, Kim Levin Photography combines her passion for photography and her love of animals. She is committed to capturing the unique personality of each dog or cat photographed. Her unique poignant and humorous perspective is showcased through all her imagery.

Kim has published 21 books including the best-selling Cattitude (Stewart Tabori and Chang) and Why We Love Dogs (Andrews McMeel Publishing). Kim's other books include Dogplay (STC), Frenemies (STC), Working Dogs (Discovery Books/Random House), PhoDOGraphy (Random House), Why We Love Cats (AMP), and Dogma (AMP). Her books combined have sold over one million copies worldwide and are published in eight languages.

Kim has acquired, secured and negotiated contracts and licensing deals with over 15 U.S. publishing and gift product companies including Random House, Abrams Books, Andrews McMeel Publishing, Calypso Cards, Paper Products Design, Brownlow Gifts, Workman Publishing, Image Conscious, and Smart Practice. She is also the creator of Molly Fig™, a line of greeting cards that was licensed and distributed over a ten year period in the US and Canada.

Kim's vast collection of dog and cat images are available for stock photography and licensing upon request. Kim will cater a collection of images to meet the needs of any client.

Kim is available for commissioned portraits and travels the tri-state area (NY,NJ,CT) and beyond. A passionate advocate of animal rights and adoption, Kim has worked with numerous organizations throughout the years including The ASPCA, St. Huberts Animal Welfare Center and The Monmouth County SPCA.
